Venue Directory Competitive Sets Product Terms
These Product Terms and Conditions are legally binding and form an integral part of the Order Form and Venue Partner Terms and Conditions entered into by and between Venue Directory and the Venue Partner to reflect the parties’ agreement with regard to the Venue Partner’s license and use of Venue Directory’s Competitive Sets Products and associated Services.
  1. Scope: These Terms apply to Venue Directory’s Competitive Sets Products. Venue Partners must have an active Enhanced Listing Subscription under an applicable Order Form to utilize the Promoted Venue Products and associated Services.
  2. Suppliers of meeting space such as hotels and other venues, as well as hotel representation, management or franchise companies acting on behalf of hotels and venues, and companies that provide services to meeting and event planners (collectively referred to hereafter as "Venue Partners") may subscribe to the Competitive Sets Products in accordance with the pricing set forth in the applicable Order Form.
  3. Competitive Sets offer Venue Partners a comprehensive competitive intelligence tool to drive data-informed decisions and optimize performance. By analysing business metrics, evaluating pricing strategies, and assessing industry rankings, Venue Partners can improve their competitive standing and achieve sustainable growth.
  4. Key Features include:
    • Business-Level Analysis: Deep insights into Venue Partner’s venue(s) performance, comparing key business metrics against competitors.
    • Informed Decision-Making: Actionable, data-driven insights to guide future strategic initiatives and ensure long-term success.
    • Quarterly Data Aggregation: Regular updates ensure that Venue Partners have access to the most current and relevant data for decision-making.
    • Graphical Data Presentation: Simplifies complex data, making it easier for Venue Partners to interpret and act upon the insights generated.
  5. Competitive Sets (each, “CompSet”) include the Basic Package for a minimum subscription term of 12 (twelve) months (“Term”) from activation date.
  6. Venue Partner's utilization of Competitive Sets must adhere to the product rules specified within the CompSet product, any guidelines Cvent may publish on its website, and the following terms:
    • Competitive Sets Management
      • CompSet Customization: Venue Partners can create a custom dashboard and manage up to 2 CompSets per venue.
      • Unique Identification: Every CompSet created must have a unique name designated by the Venue Partner.
      • Update Limit: Venue Partners may modify their CompSets up to two times in each Term.
      • Size Requirements: Each CompSet must include a minimum of 8 (eight) and a maximum of 10 (ten) competitors/venues, including the primary property, as selected by the Venue Partner.
      • Randomization: At least two of the competitors/venue that are non-primary properties in a CompSet will be properties that are not under common control, ownership, or management with the primary property (each an “Unaffiliated Property”) selected by Venue Directory. Venue Partners may select the first four (4) or more properties in the CompSet, but an additional two (2) relevant properties not selected by the Venue Partners will be selected by Venue Directory for inclusion in the CompSet. Venue Directory will select relevant properties independently, and not in consultation with the Venue Partners.
    • Data Access and Limitations
      • Historical Data: Venue Partners may access data going back up to 2 years.
      • Lagged Data: All data displayed on the CompSet dashboard will be lagged by 3 months to maintain data consistency and privacy compliance.
    • Dashboard Metrics
      • Once a CompSet is created, the following key performance indicators will be available for analysis:

      Meeting RFP Value Average value of meeting-related RFPs received
      Meeting Size Average number of attendees per meeting
      RFPs Received Total number of RFPs received
      RFP Value Average monetary value of all RFPs received
      Conversion Rate Percentage of RFPs awarded from the total received
      Awarded Value Average value of RFPs awarded
  7. Venue Directory reserves the right to update the above features/terms from time-to-time in its sole discretion, effective upon posting the amended Product Terms and Conditions at the domain or subdomains of https://www.venuedirectory.com/product-terms-of-use where the prior version of the Product Terms and Conditions was posted on Venue Directory’s website. Any such update will not alter or change a Venue Partner’s active subscription under the applicable Order Form but may go into effect in a subsequent Order Form entered into by the Venue Partner and Venuedirectory.
